What Are Tabletop Ultrasonics?

If you are completely new to ultrasonic technology, you may be asking yourself "What are tabletop ultrasonics exactly?". Luckily the answer is fairly simple. The term "tabletop" simply refers to the fact that this type of ultrasonic cleaner can be easily placed on the top of most tables and flat surfaces. This distinction is in place because some ultrasonics are what's called "recess mounted", sort of like a sink built into the counter top.

The main advantage of tabletop ultrasonics is portability. While some of the larger units can be extremely heavy when filled with solution (and shouldn't be moved until emptied), when empty they can be moved to any location in the shop, lab, or where ever ultrasonics are needed.
